Intake gaskets
Intake gaskets Was at the parts house getting a set of intake gaskets for my LT1 and after the guy entered the year, make, model, engine size, my pants inseam and all, the gaskets came up. I noticed a "High Performance" gasket listed. This one:

I assumed this is for the water passages only and has nothing to do with an LT1. Am I correct?

They sell a high performance version of the regular ol gasket. They are thicker and seal better. The normal ones also work fine.......just making up the differences between mating surfaces here, not trying to contain water 
I didn't clcik the link last time, did afte bird responded tho.......I don't think that is the actual part, just a representation of the part. I have both sets and the differences are what I listed. I dont know how to describe it other than the better ones have that bead installed on them, kinda like an o-ring, whereas the regular one does not. There is a definitive difference in the thickness and composition as well.
