Default Oil pressure sending unit wire

So my cars been down since like august of last year. Im in the process of buttoning everything up. 24x swap, bla bla bla.

in my haste last night to get the harness routed properly. I had to slightly cut the tape on the harness to pull the oil sending connecting wire back to get more length to have room under neath for everything. I got a little rough with it and actually ripped the wire somehow, not sure how. Due to its location i cant solder it, otherwise i would.

I was able to get a quality heat/glu shrink properly guaged butt connector on it, i should be fine with that, no?

If you absolutely can't solder it, I think it should be fine. Be sure to use a quality connector and make sure it's tight then wrap it up and call it good.

If you disconnect enough stuff, you will have slack to pull it out where you can get to it for repair.
