I going with 228/236 .574/.571 112 LSA cam. Was gonna go on a 110lsa but its alittle to choppy. I like a nice lope over chop. What do you guys think? I was looking at the 224/230 .560/.544 110 LSA but on a 112lsa. Ill give up some torque and a few upper ponies for a better idle. I must say LE is loads of help

I honestly wish i got this cam cut on a 112 lsa, the idle is just sooo choppy sounds awesome and with good tuning now it drives very well but every once in a while the car will die when it drops the idle, mostly in reverse

Its set at 1000 but my tuner said that my car can only take in a certain amount of air at idle thats why sometimes it will drop and cutoff

That sounds awesome !! what did you have to swap for the front end? I'm actually thinking to do an LT swap on my 02 ss i like it so much better.

To do the front end swap i just needed front fenders, front bumper, traded my lt1 ss hood for a 02 ss hood and the bumper support and lights. Make sure a body shop does the aligning though it can really look like poop if you dont know what youre doing

HMM nubucks, do you have a larger TB? Thanks for info on the 110lsa being a little to chopy, that furtures my decision on going 112lsa. Now Im just stuck between the 228/236 .574/.571 112 LSA cam and the 224/230 .560/.544 112 LSA. Id be running 1.6 rr with these. Idk what do you guys think of these two cams. Car is more a toy then driver, but Im not looking for anything radical. just something above the Hot Cam. I could save alot and go the Hot Cam way, as I already have everything from the hot cam kit installed minus the cam

I think you will be very happy with the 224-230 it has a good power band with very nice street manners. I drive the car maybe twice a month but when i do its a treat to do with the gear, stall, and cam its fun to just get on the gas and let her rip

sorry for the late response, the exhaust i am running is pacesetter full length headers through an ORY pipe and an open electronic cutout, when i want to not be heard and fly under the radar i close the cutout and run my flowmaster catback.
