Torn between the two
Well I just got my car running now after my full bolt ons, ported heads, intake and cam swap now all that is really left is to do the exhaust. Right now the exhaust is ran thru just the I pipe so it's pretty damn loud until I make the desicion to go with true duals or run the exhaust all the way back. I need to make a desicion but idk which route I should take! I want a deep but not too loud type of rasp until its at WOT, so do you guys have any suggestions of good exhaust options either way and what you would prefer with this kind of set up??

True duals! I have people every day go out of their way to tell me how good the car sounds. That is with just bolt ons. I cant wait to hear it after h/c/i later this year

I have had....
Stock manifolds, removed cats, and a single bullet in the I pipe dumped at the axle = eh
(These were all with Hooker ceramic LTs)
2.5" true duals, summit x pipe, dynomax bullets dumped = but loud and REALLY bad drone in 6th gear
2.5" true duals, heavily modded summit x pipe, over the axle into a Magnaflow dual in/dual out muffler with 2OTL tips = but raspy on downshifts, didn't draw alot of attention until WOT then everybody stops what they were doing to watch and listen
Now the new setup I'm currently working on...
Speed Daddy 1 3/4-1 7/8" stepped stainless headers, 3" Flowmaster Scavanger Series X Pipe, Magnaflow Magnapacks, 3" mandrel bent tubing over the axle (1 tailpipe per side) with hidden tips.
I can't wait until I'm back from vacation so I can finish it up and hear this beast
BTW my car is full bolt ons, old LE3s, CC306 w/1.6 pro mags, forged 11.7:1 SRP pistons, ported intake, EWP, !All Emissions, blah blah blah

If your not using cats id suggest the Magnaflow. Its cheap and sounds badass and not raspy. My buddy has a long tubes, custom y, no cats, and magnaflow. Its not overly loud at idle but once it you get on it she screams. I personally have a long tubes, catted y, open borla with qtp e-cutout. I think the even with cats the Borla is still on the raspy side i doubt ill get rid of it untill i find a good deal on a GMMG.
