Default Windage tray

Looking for a windage tray for a 397 LT1 stroker.
Any advise.

Go to Summit or Jegs and look at the Milodon Diamond Stripper for a sbc with passanger sid dipstick. Or buy one of the pans with the built in windage tray.

stock pan?

if so just use 1/8" spacers betweeen the 3 long main cap studs & stock tray. You also need one for the oil pump.

Miloden also makes a set of extended main cap studs

What is the differance between a windage tray and windage screen.
My oil pan has a built in windage screen.

I thought just about everyone who tried a "screen" ended up with issues and put a tray in. Especially the guys who buy the fancy aftermarket pans with the built in screens.
