A/C and Cruise doesn't work

Unplug the negative battery connection. wait a few minutes, connect negative back on battery. have ac or defrost off. start car, turn on defrost or ac. yull here a click, that's the air conditioner pump turning on. now drive, your cruise will work too. there was a code in the computer that wouldnt let those turn on. when you unplugged the battery, you cleared that code. now they work.
