My lt1 overheats fast

Overheating Problem My fans never turn on, and I only see one bleeding screw. the water has risen in the overflow. bleed I called myself bleeding the thing Iguess it didnt.My guage is not working at all Ive got to check it out too

Mine is on the right side of the block ...it screws right in, there is a little wire assembly connector thing that you take off first...you will need to put something under the block to catch any fluid that leaks out when you take the sending unit out.... Trending Topics

I would also check the relay for the fans....There should be two bleeder valves, unless you bypassed the heater core or something...I found this pic on the internet...can you see the valve coming off of the housing for the t-stat on top of the water pump? The other one is right on top of the part of the assembly with the three compressed hoses on it...Hope this helps!!

Verdad Gallardo There are 2 bleeders. One on the T-stat housing, one on a heater hose.
The sensor that controls the fan is NOT on the side of the HEAD . It's on the front of the water pump, on the bottom right side. The sensor on the head is for the temp gage only.
