Is an ATI balancer REALLY worth doing?

COrrect. Everything on paper looked better for the fluidamper so I called them about my high rpm LT4 (over 8k). They gave me the Best answer ever. "Buy an ATI".

They told me most strokers or sbcs or bbcs dont rev beyond 7k so they make theirs to control in that range. ATI is better at over 6500 or so.

I consider it mighty respectable on Fluidampr's part to recommend their competitor's item for the application.

If you are saying that you can pull the damper off without a puller it is too loose. It is meant to be a tight fit on the crank. I have these on three stock cranks. None needed to be honed.

This is the only negative with the Fluidampr balancer. The whole damn thing has to come off when the opti craps out.

FWIW the ATI I just remove the balancer from hub to swap Opti. Leave the hub on the crank
