recomend top end
I have a 96 camaro with a full exhaust, lt4 hot cam and 4.10s and I am looking into doing heads and an intake this winter or in 2 months I was wondering what would b a good combo with what I am already running. I know I have a baby cam but I'm happy with that. All I can find is bickering about flow numbers but not much specifics on what works well with what. Not really looking to port stock castings at all. Any input would help thanks guys.
O and is the edlebrock lt4 intake really a waste of money? Tb size suggestions?

Edelbrock LT4 kit is a waste. Good call.
Any reason you're not looking to port stock castings? I hear they are very capable...(see sig).
IMO if you're going to keep the hotcam then there's no real reason to upgrade to an aftermarket head. The HP/dollar there would be very poor.
What kind of budget you workin' with? What are your goals?

AFR 180cc, or TFS 185cc heads would be a good match for the Hot Cam, and don't forget your 1.7rr's and 52mm TB...

I'm working with I wanna stay below $2500 because the car needs some paint work. And I'm not a HP hog I just want a fun car to hit the streets in. But I am also leaning towards road racing some weekends. And Idk about stock heads just have not heard the greatest reports back from them. And for the price of a good port job n what it entails you can buy a set of off the shelfers it seems.

This would be my choice for that combo. Should provide nice gains across the board without breaking the bank.

I find this hilarious. He says he wants nothing to do with stock casings, yet he only wants a fun street cart. FYI, people have taken stock casings into the 9s, so no need for aftermarket casings OP. Go call up AI or LE and they will hook you up.

Ignorance is not always bliss. Listen to these guys before you make a $1500 mistake. Especially for what you're talking about with that LT4 package you could spend $100 more and get yourself some LE2s and a new cam. That's what I'm doing and the total invetment with new gaskets and everything (not replacing opti or water pump as they are both pretty new) is just shy of $2100. Do some homework man. Don't just jump. These guys are offering you a wealth of experience and knowledge, not just guesses.
