Default Build from Hell....

1) Above is the picture of my motor's accessory bracket in the current state. I am trying to figure out the dimensions of the two bolts that mount the alternator to this bracket. Already checked FSM and googled it.

2) Trying to figure out the proper routing for the heater hose assembly that runs from the water pump to the back of the car (heater core). I purchased a brand new assembly, part number 10236039 for those who might want to know. I was told that the flat piece of metal that hooks the two steel tubes together goes on a stud but I can't find it on my block for the life of me. Any assistance with this would be wonderful because Ive bloodied my knuckles plenty trying to figure it out.

3) What goes above the air conditioning compressor and below the alternator, there are two bolt holes. I suspect power steer pump. Confirm if I am right.

For some reason there seems to be a great lack of accessory location diagrams in the factory service manual. This build gets more painful by the day. As more and more gets put on the motor, things are getting in the way of each other and I can't find bolts that belong in the right places. I am really paying for not labeling and organizing everything when I took the car apart 5 years ago. Thanks for the help in advance guys.

1.) M10x1.5x45 and M10x1.5x85. The nut on the back brace onto the manifold is a typical 3/8"x16.

2.) The brace for the lines doesn't go onto a stud, it is bolted to the sheet metal directly below the heater box. There should be a threaded hole, unused.

3.) Yes - your power steering pump goes there.

Nowadays labeling stuff becomes obsolete with www.shbox.com.

A little more explanation of the heater hose bracket...the 'sheet metal' that "RamAir" is referring to, is the frame rail.....
