2011 LTX SHOOTOUT Mod/Na class There were 7 of us in this class. Mike V had us all covered with his 10.2/10.3 car. I ran a best of 10.78 and Daren was consistently in the low 10.80's. The final run was amazing. Daren put a holeshot on Mike, but Mike drove around him on the top end. I have a set of pics that detail the final run. Here's a video of my best pass. It was my 2nd time trial pass of 10.78 at 125.55 . I didn't qualify good at all. I think my best qualifying pass was a 11.02 or something like that.

Burnout:
Launch!!! Daren had a holeshot, sorry my 55mm lens couldn't fit them both into the frame:

Then I put down the camera and watched Mike drive around him. Noone had anything for Mike in this class.
2 TIME CHAMP!!!!! His car is clean as hell too!
Congrats Mike! It was super cool meeting you and your Dad and we'll have to hit up Maryland in a month or 2!

sweet pics man! i ended up driving back through upstate NY and u were 100% right it was wayyyyy flatter then PA. im def going that way both ways next time!
congrats on the 10.78 like i said b4 that car has wayyy more in it! i watched the finals for mike and daren up in the tower it was awesomeeee i saw him get treed but new he'd drive around him and i could tell he passed him. i was yelling in the tower dont let out dont let out of it!!! lol (like he would? lol) great racing with a bunch of great guys!

awesome pics joel!!!! it looked like he had me by so much more than that from in the car i think i dented the floorboard under my pedal trying to catch him lol..........and thanks for the props!!!! yep hopefully ill see ya down in cecil early october..........

yes it was about that time i let out a big "OH $HIT" in the car lol........you without a doubt treed the crap out of me lol.....i was just getting my foot to the floor when i looked over and saw you leaving me on the rear wheels lol.........it was a hell of a fun race!! and i appreciate your help an generosity daren, you really are a great person and its a pleasure to have you and veronica as a friend .......even though you did scare the crap out of me
