Talking 2011 ES/PA We had a blast!

We brought up a car from our group and never thought we'd be able to compete with the motor/car we brought.

We were blown away to walk away with top qualifier and make it all the way to the finals with Brian's car. It was the first time out with his new transmission and he's hooked. Major props to the guys that were rowing gears!

We were the green 3rd gen with the tan convertible top. Next year we'll come back with alot more motor so no one will be able to mph us on the big end, haha.

Haha! Congrats and Ill be coming again but with a car that can put down the power next year. Too bad I prob wont be in ES class. Hands down the best event around. IMO its even better than the LSXshootout do to the fact everyone gets along and is like family.

BTW what trans does your car have?

It was a auto built by a local guy here that builds my trans. Nothing exotic. It's all in the converter in Brian's car. FTI converter's FTW!!!

was it a 700r4 or 60e? Either way it worked great.

The car is setup for a TH400 with a brake, but we had to switch to the 60e for the goofy rules in the class. So gay, they allowed a 4l80 but not a TH400?

Anyways, we are hoping with the t-brake, we can go solid 10.50's.

I absolutely HATE 4l60e's haha.
