I've had the edit stuff for about a year now but after. My tune on wednesday it does.not run anymore I already checked all my ground wires everything good. The problem is I get no spark on none of the coils, the eng just cranks I have fuel plugs look good. Changed the eng temp sensor on the water pump made no difference. Anyone have anything similar.

 

Check your crank trigger. Make sure you are getting 12 volts and the ground is good. I had a crank trigger go bad when I 1stwould put it on. New some guys at the chevy dealer and they warrantied the sensor.

 

Thanks the connector has 12 volts so I guess a bad crank sensor. Would u happen to have the part number for the sensor or is it a efi connection sensor.

 

Scan the PCM for trouble codes, if a sensor is bad it'll throw a code. All the sensors are GM, this set up isn't any more complicated far as diagnostics then a LS1 F-car would be.

 

Alright good to know but if the sensor is bad what would it come in. Because I looked online and I couldn't find a.vehicle that would carry that sensor.

 

you'd pick the ls1 sensor from a 2000 camaro. btw- are you sure it's the crank sensor? did you pull the codes for it?

 

That.sensor.will not fit it about an inch too big. Haven't looked at the codes yet sucks being on base. Ive been sending emails to the efi guys. They have been responding fast, with what to look for. Just need a scanner to make sure what's wrong.

 

if it's not a ls1 sensor, which one did we get in the kit? I just assumed it was a ls1 sensor.

 

The sensors that are ls based are the crank and cam position, e-mail,efi connection and get part numbers. Of the problems I had on my install, none were related to any thing from EFI connection supplied parts.

 

Sensor part numbers are in the installation guide included with every 24x kit.

 

today after replacing the crank sensor it fired right up in the first try. thanks for the help s10wildside. i also have a code of p0650 now i need to look at the wires to make sure they didnt get burnt.

thanks i guess i had my computer too close to the exhaust and fried it. car would not idle right replaced it now car runs 10x better.
