Default 1.6 rollers and LT4 Intake: Do Both or just RR

I've a '95 TA LT1. I was considering the install of 1.6 roller rockers, new springs to match and new Manley push rods. I notice the LT4 Intake is reasonably priced. Is it a worthwhile mod or is the red top the only benefit?

I'm not considering any cam or headers.

Engine is otherwise stock w/Hypertech, 160* stat, Underdrive pulley, Random Tech cats and great muffler.

thanks for your input.

The LT4 intake doesnt bolt onto LT1 heads withotu significant machine work to both the heads and intake. You'd be best off with headers, but, 1.6 roller rockers, a cold intake, or a torque converter (Auto) would be the best for you with the mods you have

Wow, Thanks much. I didn't realize the two types of heads had different mouning holes.

Actually, the LT4 will bolt up to the LT1 heads with some simple milling of the manifold, but it's not worth it. The manifold was designed to work with the raised intake runners of the LT4 heads. After the milling of the LT4 intake, all you have is a pretty, red, and expensive LT1 intake.
