Help me make a decision Buy a new steam pipe or go with fittings and a hose. This is my last part I need in order to finally complete my headgasket swap. The threads on the bolts for my old steampipe were stripped which is why I'm having this debate. Thanks for helping me finally make a choice
New is always way neater.
Did you strip the threads in the heads? Are the threads clean with no busted bolt thread junk in them? You'd hate to put in new stuff and strip them too.

I know i didnt strip them, this may of been the problem it had from the previous owner and why the head gasket blew, the heads were cleaned and checked, but i cant gurantee the threads on the block are not stripped.
