LS1 brake hose busted
LS1 brake hose busted Guys,
i have a LT1 with LS1 front brakes and the driver side brake hose busted.
is there somewhere i can buy a longer hose locally? the stock hose i have now seams a little short for where the bracket hooks up on my car. Or is there a way to mount it or use a different bracket to extend it?
like i said... i need it locally like autozone or something so i can get it back on the road for the track this weekend.
just to verify, is it an ls1 hose or lt1 hose that i should be looking for?

I ended up cutting off a part of the ls1 bracket to allow for a me to drill a new mounting hole to extend the bracket closer to the caliper thus making the hoses "longer".
also, the bracket fitting where the hose fits into has a smooth area allowing for the hose to only sit at one position got fixed. i took a grinder to it and made it more of a full hex rather than the hex with a smooth are so i could twist the hose as needed.
btw, i used the stock ls1 hose again.
