Default opti question

I have changed my plugs twice in the past week while were have been tuning my car. yesterday i installed all new plugs and went to fire it up and nothing. it just sputtered a little when i released the key the first time and the second time i cranked it for over 30-45 sec, when i released the key the car sputtered again but this time it sputtered for 5 sec then started running. I let the car run for 20 min or so, i then went for an easy drive around the block. much better in terms of running smooth and everything. I got home let it run for 5 more min then shut it down. I instantly tried to fire it back up and nothing again, even if i extended cracked it nothing. So out with the test equipment. Fuel pressure gauge went on and spark tester. FP perfect.....Spark from coil..Yes....Spark to PLUG...YES... I then noticed that all that cranking did not produce any raw fuel smell so out with the noid lights and MM. At first i had a pulse from #1 and #3 but not 5 or 7 so i thought loose pins since the noid did not fit like 1&3. i checked 4 or 5 times and had a pulse from those but today i have no pulse from any of them. I unhooked the opti plug and tested and i have 12v...5V....5V ground. I also checked the Coil and ICM for ***** and all test came back good. So im at the point now where i think my optical sensor sometimes works and sometimes does not and this is causing my no injector pulse. Am i correct on this?

The last time i replaced my plugs (last Sat night) it did the same exact thing, after hrs of messing with it i just let it be untill the next morning, i went out and she fired right up like nothing. i drove all week with no issues, then parked her thursday and did not run again untill Sat morning when she fired right up, no nothing at all. I just dont understand how i can have good spark but no injector pulse if the opti is BAD!

I stated above the opti harness has 12v 5v 5v ground. So how can the harness be BAd?

And the ignition switch? I have spark and crank from starter so how can this possibly be the issue?
