So I'm still having this problem, I've tried a few things no solution. I have noticed that if its doing it with just the key in the on position and I slam my hood it stops. Which made me think loose connector...I checked my codes and got a code 51...so I opened up the ecm and found the previous owner had installed a fastchip piggyback style modual but it doesnt seem to sit properly. I don't know if my prom is bad, the piggyback is bad, or maybe my ecm is taking a dump maybe...looking for a few opinions. Thanks

Turn on your headlights and the heater blower on high. Turn the key on and get it to do it's flashing thingy. If the headlights are flashing it's a power problem unrelated to the Ignition circuit. If the headlights are on steady and the blower motor is turning off an on it's a problem with the ignition circuit. That would be a good starting place.

I can't make it happen at will, it does it at random. The code 51 has me concerned..

Heh no I've physicaly abused the column to no luck. I may eat my words about it not being a ground...the thin strap in the front driver side seems to cause the problem when i stick my hand in that general area of wires and shake...fuel pump starts continusly priming on and off and all the gauges jump with it.. Meh

It was my computer, well the piggy back fastchip that the previous owner had installed. I can tap on the chip and it instantly causes my problem I've been having. Also explains the code 51 I pulled for the prom error. Guess ill be ordering a new chip, hopefully it didn't damage anything else in the computer. Thanks for all the suggestions.
