I was wondering if anyone else has ever hit the gas to hard and pulled the cable end out of the plastic retainer? This is on the pedal side at the top. My Second shake down run last night I was pushing the pedal to hard I guess and did just that. Plastic was not cracked or any other signs of damage on it at all. I did not know what to think after that so I used a small vise grip on the cable and pedal and tried to run that once. Then gave up and just watched.

 

Never heard of it, but I guess it can happen.. you should be able to find a throttle cable no problem on here or ebay.

 

I have plenty of cables, so I swapped it today. I was just wondering if this has ever happen to anyone else. Very odd to me

Well Marv what can I say, I guess a size 20 shoe with almost 255lbs smashing down on it was just too much for it. I was pulling hard on a new SRT Challenger when it happen, right in the middle of the race.

 

Dang there clown feet..lol..
