LT1 would'nt start,...loose coil connector?!
LT1 would'nt start,...loose coil connector?! So I opened the 383 LT1 WFO and missed the two/three shift at 5,500rpm and the motor just died,...
I thought it was the fuel pump as I had been having a hard time starting the car,...so I changed that.
Still nothing.
After a lot of studying and gathering all the tools to check the Opti/ICM/Coil etc.,...it turns out my coil connectors were'nt solid,...a simple problem that I found by fluke,...thankfully before I bought/replaced a bunch of parts.
I cleaned up the connectors and figure a way using ty wraps to really keep it all together.
Maybe give your coil connections a wiggle while someone turns over your LT1?!
