Default wire harness delima!

1.Will I be able to use my 97 z28 engine harness on a 94 gauge cluster?
2.Or should I buy a 94-95 z28 engine harness?

Reason asked is because Im using my 97 z28 as a donor car for my 94 v6 roller and would like to keep the v6 cluster for a sleeper look, dont wanna change cluster or dash. My roller has no power windows or door locks,so I know alot of wires will be eliminated.

Thanks-n-advance

I think it would be easier to get a 94 engine harness because under the hood 94's only have one plug to connect the engine compartment harness and 95 up have two. You can still use your gauges from the 94 no problem. Most people only change it so they can have the 155 speedo.

i would check the pinouts before you do anything. I think the 97 and 94 are slightly different. I just went fron 94 z28 and put all my drivetrain into a 96 V6 roller. From all the wiring diagrams that i went through you are gonna have a lot more to do than i did. The 97 engine compartment harness( headlights and such) is totally different than the 94 and will likely have to be changed. also the 97 had a BCM and the 94 does not so i am not sure how that will work out. Shoebox website will be your biggest help. If you have questions i will do my best to help. Good Luck.
