My crank hub broke while tearing down my motor but had another lt1 so was worried got everything together and now my belts off so it must have been a hub from a impala so no one around where I live has one and I looked on Jeggs at p/n 555-51607 and has any one had any luck with these and what is the difference with the key or If any has a stock one they want to ge rid of

what probably happened is, your car is a 97, the hub for a obd2 car is shorter due to the reluctor wheel. if you put a obd1 hub on it (with the reluctor wheel still behind the cover) it will be too long and push the pulley out too far

If that is the issue I have a 97 hub that i would trade ya for your obd1 hub as i do not need/want the reluctor wheel due to going carbed.

also no stock lt1 hub is keyed

or another option for the above scenario is to have your hub milled down to the proper length
