All I can say is I sold my first 95 z that was really nice, and 4 years later I am starting over with a tired 95 z that needs a full resto....... I saw my car, well actually heard it and then saw it a year after I sold it...... It was the saddest day ever!!

I've owned 2, my brothers owned like 7. They are no more junk than 4th gens.

I don't know why you guys keep commenting on third gens. I already said I'm not getting one.

Good luck with the sale. Seems like these cars are selling easier now than they were a year or two ago.

As for the replacement. If I were getting something newer with 4 seats it would be a g8. The gto's are nice, but you can't beat the comfort of a nice sedan.

G8 owners are retarded. They think their car is worth $30k still.

I'd love one, but not for $30k. Maybe for $17ish.

G8's are bad ***, V6 or not, mine stayed even with a LS1 T/A. I got it for 20,500 with 6k and perfect condition.

You clearly don't live here. And no V6 G8 stays even with an LS1 TA... unless said LS1 is driven by a mutant.

Sounds like a mutant. Daddies car too. Not his. Definitely sounds like driver error to me.

And thanks

Im in the same situation currently. After selling my last project 6+ years ago, and ALWAYS wondering where that car is and what it would look like today...im sticking with it. 5 years from now this car could be a beast. Never know what the future holds with lt1 aftermarket, everyone seems to be attacking the opti and sooner or later it will get a good, cheap, aftermarket ignition system that someone will come up with.

Id get a 88-91 GTA over a gto. But id also get a civic or corrolla or camry as a daily driver with the GTA. Been seeing alot of GTA's forsale.

Ive said it befor and ill always say it. The absolute BEST mod you can make to your v8 fbody, is a 4cylinder daily driver. No longer do rattles **** me off, no longer does it bother me if something is leaking, no longer does it bother me if its broken. I drive the daily driver and wait to fix it. And when it runs, You enjoy it for what it is.

^^this guy knows what's up.

and (sry to bring it up again but) as for the third gen/ 4th gen deal, i own a 91 formy and a 95 firehawk... it's hard to imagine parting with the hawk, but i'd almost sale it before the 91. third gens are much slower and, with the exception of the later years (like 90-91), are more poorly assembled. however, the shorter dash, split instrament panels, flatter console, and overall feel from the inside of the car looking out makes for a much more fun driving experiance imo. Besides, look at what Hawks is doing with the turd gens... it'll make you think twice

I have a 4 cylinder dd. it was awesome for about 2 years, and the irritation that disappeared finally reappeared but with a vengeance. I hate driving my car. I love racing it, but driving it isn't fun. Maybe it's the exhaust, maybe it's the squeaks, all i know is it's time has come.
