LT1 battery junction
This thing is not designed to be mounted with screws.
As the LS1 cars don't have these slots & holes stamped in the sheet metal, you'll need to fabricate your own way to mount & secure it.
That piece is the junction for the Fuseable Links that supply power to the Chassis. The LS1 stuff doesnt have them cause the Fuse Box actually incorporates high-load Fuses..that's why the power supply bolts to that Fuse Box on the 1998-up cars.
Thanks for the backing Paul, you know as well as others I have hands-on wiring expertise with both.
The Monte Carlo SS is wired with a 1998 Fuse Box..

The S10 is a 1996 Fuse Box with them Fuseable Links, and they are at a junction on the Fire Wall.

I prefer the 1998 setup, but when it comes down to it, it's a matter of what you have at hand and making it work.

LOL. You two really need to educate yourselves on what a fusible link is. Looked up the part number as well and states nothing about it being a fusible link.

You need to educate yourself on reading skills. But we all know this already..

It is not a "Fuseably Link Junction." It is a Batterably Junction Baux or Power Distriboutionably Blox. Just trying to correct your terminology. I should have known you would've gone ape **** crazy. Many apologies.
