You suck! Now you're just showing off! LOL!!

Who's are they and what ratio?

LOL, No not showing off. Just being ornery. They're really just some old used stuff I had laying around. They're Jesel 1.6 ratio. The solid roller cam is fairly small. .390 lobe lift on the intake and .400 exhaust. Probably around 625/640 valve lift minus the .016 lash.

Didn't get much done today except a lot of cleaning for the next stage of the assembly. I started assembling the "roll your own" plug wires. They're Taylor spiro-pros and I've had great luck with them in the past so why change? I wanted to at least get the header up there to check the clearance to the plug wires. Everything appears to be good. Now just get off my dead butt and do it.

I dug into my used parts and found two water pumps. Both are fo an Impala and I don't know if they'll work on the Vette. They looked real close but it'll take more checking before I bolt it up. I want to put the Meziere on the shiny powder coated pump.

Plug clearance is OK around the headers. #2 is about 1" away but the Taylor wires have some great high temp silicone ends on them. I've been closer on the Impala with no problems.

I'm going to have to get 45 degree plug boots for the coil packs. I don't like the wires laying on top of the valve cover.

Time to hit the classifieds and find more stuff. I'm running out. This build and the Impala build have depleted my supply of junk.

I wish. I have a big box of parts that will fit inside mine when I pull the engine and transmission to do the swap. It will take me a couple of days to rebuild it. I do have a 3800 stall converter just laying around.....as a matter of fact it's in my computer room. That would be it by the headers.

I've got a guy in Oklahoma holding a Dana 44 for me. I'll go pick it up when I get my truck running. I don't expect my 7 1/2" Dana 33 will work very long. I got the 9 1/2" converter from Lawhead here on the forum. Ya' gotta love used parts and leftovers.

All those used parts look pretty worn out and probably wont hold up. I could come and get them out of your way for free because that's the kind of guy I am, just want to help out. It would made the miss' happy too.

That's real kind of you but I've got most of the parts put together now. Last week she would have gave them to you, if you hauled them away. She has her cars in the garage and I'm forced to work on the carport until I get the garage cleaned out. That's the real reason I've been hauling parts.

She took my "man-cave".

Besides, I read your sig:
Best 1/4 11.63 @ 116.42 1.55 60ft 3700lbs.
You're already faster than my '95 Impala. 11.78 @118 1.706 60 ft 4350 lbs.

I'm going to try to catch you with the old 3400# Vette.

Cool, but I'm working on a new build, not as nice as yours but still an upgrade. I love competition.

Sorry, I missed the question but the Mystery Bird came through. It's an Edge Racing 3800 stall. Gotta use something to get those oversize heads to flow.

Are you talking about Elton John or Richard Simmons? No, I'm going to rebuild my tranny when I pull the engine. Parts are here in a box or two. A Corvette Forum member is selling me a Dana 44 for $400.00. I'm taking a road trip to Colorado to pick it up when I get my truck fixed. Gotta put a junkyard rear in it.

Here's an earlier post where I mentioned that. The 3800 came from a forum member.

Nice to see someone on here working on a C4, I have a large empty spot in my heart for those cars. I wish I still had my LT4. Where in KY are you? Nice build
