It's very limited. I had a tune done through Trifecta a long time ago and his equipment had the abillity to data log but I had no way of seeing what was going on. All I could do is send him the file and he could see the data log. On a side note to that he aslo stoped tuning OBD II LT1's and sold his equipment. You might email him and see if he can help you find something if know one here knows. He used Palm hand held and some software to do both on. My tune also was not right though. It fouled out plugs and O2's right and left and I converted to OBD I since I had an OBD I pcm sitting around anyway and had Madtuner do the tune. Now I use data master to data log and catts to upload. I did see some other data logging stuff out there for OBD II but it was not cheap. 300 400+. I don't have the links anymore sorry.

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=97+LT1+data+logging

Second hyperlink down, the first one that is not a sponsored link, and from what I read we have two options for keeping the factory PCM.

Tunercats with autotap or Tunercats with Autoxray

No one chimed in with much information on either and I get the idea they are difficult to deal with. So really we have 3 options.

1)Switch to OBDI 2)Keep factory PCM and have headache or 3)LS1 PCM

The cost to do the LS1 PCM is pretty expensive from what I have seen.. So much that you would be well on your way to a complete LSX swap.

I could be wrong, I hope I am wrong, someone please help!

draggin97s10 I am confused. In my Google search I found a thread that said you switched to an OBDI PCM. How come you need a datalogger for your 97 OBDII??

How hard was the switch? Can you ballpark the cost?
