94 = OBD1
96 = OBD2
Cam, timing cover, opti etc must be switched over from old motor. also depending on if its a early 94 motor oil pressure sensor might be on the drivers side of the block above the oil filter instead of on the back of the intake, 96 wiring harness might not reach.
the use diffrent cams for 94 to 96 durations? . and the only diffrence in the opti from 94 to 96 is a spline type and pin type. so if the cams are the same durattion i wont bother switching it unless you want the later timming chain set up. and just move the oil pressure sensor from by the oil filter to behind the intake.
