Belt Size

I put a GM AC delete pulley on my 97 TA. I have been told i can use the stock belt but its way to big. Has or does anyone no of a different belt to use???

I used a GM 1le pulley as well, make sure the belt is routed properly as it will be the stock length.

Belt size

Everything is on right, belt is just way to big. I can push on the belt by the alternator and it will hit the power steering pulling.

You might try a 635 (last three digits of belt number) belt. They used two different a/c pulley sizes over the years, but it seem only one size of delete pulley. So, some people end up needing a slightly different size belt.

Use a cloth tape measure or a piece of string. Route it through the pulleys then measure its overall length. Go to the parts store and buy a few different size belts. Find one that fits, then return the others.

That's what I did with my non-GM pulley.
