Default Rocker Adjustments

Ok, I know it has been asked a bunch of times but I see soo many different opinions that I'm a little confused! I did the LT-1 Hot Cam Kit a few months back. The rockers started to seem a little noisy after warming up and also I was getting sputtering almost like a rev limiter at 5500-5800. I originally tightened my rockers doing the 1/4 turn of the crank at a time method. I finger tightened the rocker nuts till i could not feel any up/down slack of the pushrod then I went a 1/2 turn more and locked them in place. So now after researching a little I saw were people were saying 3/4 to 1 full turn passed 0 lash. So I did that and my problem got worse! Now, I see where some people say 0 turns passed lash which I find hard to believe and I've seen some say 1/4 turn. Also, I see different methods! I don’t want to keep pulling this apart! WHAT DOES EVERYONE SUGGEST?

ok.....your half turn past 0 is fine.........when u adjust them do this........adust the exhaust side when the intake valve is starting to return from full lift........do the intake side when the exhuaxt is jussttttt starting to open.......

I always set them the way you did, then do them all again with the engine running. There are a bunch of threads here about how to do it.

I adjust warm and while running. I also like 1/4 turn vs 1/2
