Old V-1 Blower

Old V-1 Blower I got a old V-1 blower for dirt cheap that needs rebuilt. Impeller gaskets ect. The old owner said Vortech quoted him $700 to do everything. I called them today and they said that its to old and i have to replace the whole head unit. But they would give me a $500 credit torwards a new one and thats less than what i paid for it but i didnt wanna shell out $1700-$2200 for a new head unit. Does anyone know anyone else who rebuilds them or a kit that i might be able to do myself? Im in no rush this is for a project in a year or two.

honestly I would just bite the bullet and get a newer trim, you arent losing out at all and it is basically free money towards something a lot more beefy, newer trim vortechs are actually pretty nice and quiet, pretty sleeper like if you wanted it to be.

wait till after the holidays to sell... everyone is stuck into that mode... then creditcard debt pay off... best time for car parts is spring/summer... I myself wait till people can't sell and then swoop in on stuff lol...
last I checked they are self contained(im a fan of this), don't quote me, it's been a couple years. and I am sure they sell two different types of head units for either oil feed.

Don't know what trim that blower is but they have just about everything to rebuild one.
