Default LT Header ?s

Getting ready to install my headers and had a few questions.

For those of you who used saws where did you cut?

How high did you have to get the car off the ground to r&r the headers?

And can you run the car in open loop (no O2s) for a while after install so you don't foul the sensors?

Many of your questions depend on what brand of headers you are installing.

Saws? What for? You should be able to unbolt the stock exhaust just fine.

You generally want to get the car as high as possible. When I did my JHs 8 years ago I had the front at least 2' off the ground.

You can run without the O2s for a few minutes sure, but what I'd recommend is just replacing the O2s while you have them out with new ones. Use the old ones until the inside crap has burned off then swap them out for the new ones.

I have pacesetters and I had read that some people used saws cause it saved time or they couldn't unbolt their cats.

Did you just raise just the front or the whole car?

I figured as much with the O2s
