Default 383 ?

My brother has a carborated LT1 in his 74 Impala wagon.
He is going to stroke the motor to 383 and twin turbo it. The heads are going to get ported and a valve job. My question is what would be a good custom cam? What turbos? He wants to daily drive it as well. He is going to have a shop that we know built the motor. Thanks.

For a motor of that caliber, if it isn't in fantasy land, the LAST place I would be looking for in turbo/camshaft selection is the LT1 section of this forum. He needs to be talking with a reputable engine builder, someone who does this for a living.

Hope he's ready to spend a ****-ton of money too.

There's not nearly enough information provided to give you any specific recommendations...what is the HP goal? Is there a certain 1/4 ET he's tying to achieve? What's the budget; unlimited? How much boost? He could get started by contacting STS turbo and do a universal rear mount for that car if he wants a "kit" with most parts included....this sounds more like a project for a shop that deals with high end LT1's on a regular basis; the cam choice will be dependent on the heads/turbo you go with.
