Tuning
Tuning I just installed a wet kit system on my car. I understand I need to tune the fuel trims and timing curve and would like to do this on my own, instead of having to take it somewhere every time I want to change my shot size. I'm wondering what type of cable I would need for my car. I've done some research and found the obd1 to usb and obd2 to usb cables. Being that my car is a 95, the crossover year, I would only assume that I would need the obd2 cable just like my scanner uses the obd2 cable to scan my car. I just want to make sure I get the right cable, and if any obd2 to usb cable will work.
No, any OBD 2 cable will not work.

You can tune the fuel with the jets since you have a wet kit... you will need a wideband and / or learn how to read plugs properly. Reading the plugs is the best method anyway but more labor intensive and probably not completely necessary up to a 150 shot.
Start by pulling 2.5 degrees for each 50hp of nitrous. That would be 7.5 for a 150 shot.

Ok, thanks. What exactly is the difference between the moates cable and a regular obd2 cable? The only thing that confuses me, is the obd2 cable w/ my scanner works for my car, so why wouldn't a obd2 to usb cable work with it. Is the pin layout different? And what software do you personally recommend?
A normal OBD 2 cable is designed to scan data, not write it to the PCM for 1.
