Default LT1 Intake Upgrade Question/Options...

I am thinking of upgrading my intake but not sure what to go with. I have looked at a K&N and SLP cold air intake but other than difference in cost, what is the performance difference??? Also, are there any other options??? Anything with better performance to offer or something worthwhile at a less expensive cost???

Thanx for all the help in advance.

I prefer the K&N over all the CAI systems however when it comes to the most bang for the Buck installing an Ls1 lid is the BEST! Weather you use an SLP,Fast toys,MTI it does not really matter aslong as you use one......

Slp is the least restrictive.

The looks & performance of ram air is my favorite The LT1 cars look sweet with ram air There was a nice firehawk hood on here cheap & octane motorsports sells a ram air box if ya cant find one Or if you dont wanna spend that much either the K&N or SLP CAI units work well just pick the one you like the best

I've run every single one of them. Lingenfelter is what I'd buy. $159, good large filter, easy to install and remove. All the others have a flaw, price, removal is a pain, hard to get filter on/off, hard to find replacement filters, etc. I'd put them in this order Lingenfelter, Moroso, K&N, then SLP.
