oil pump drive stub pic can anyone post a pic of a drive stub thats fully seated in the block. I'd like to compare mine to what its supposed to look like to see how much further mine needs to go in.
I just put mine in last night. The "ear" needs to be flush with the block. The trick is instead of lining up the slot on the intermediate shaft with the bar on the drive, turn it like an 1/8-1/4 of a turn so then when the gear meshes with the cam gear the bar and the slot line up. It takes a few tries.
