Default Fidanza flywheels worth it??

I have a chance to get a fidanza lightweight flywheel pretty cheap. I didn't know if it is worth it or if I should just stick to the one I am running (stock balanced). I hear they make your car rev faster but during shifts the rpm decreases quickly. Anyone running one of these on a modified motor? Do they really free up hp?

Nobody has any experience with these? Is it worth messing with for a mostly street car with an occasional trip to the drag strip?

I have had one for the past few years, i noticed a slight difference on how quick it revved up when I first got it, but now I'm used to it. I have no problems launching with it, it's not really much harder to launch with than stock as people make it out to be, plus it will help you with less parasitic hp loss.

My friend has one in his vechile and it helped quite a bit. There was quite a noticeable difference in how much faster the motor revs and how quickly it got into the powerband. As for streetability, it will mainly depend on the composition of your clutch and how much you can put up with on the street. FWIW, I plan on getting one sometime in the future.

It will put down more power on a dynojet but it will not really go faster at the track. Main benefit is rev matching downshifts is easier in my opinion.

I've never run one without it since I've gone M6. Haven't driven another lt1 M6 to say exactly how much of a difference It makes.
