headlight troubles
headlight troubles so i posted this in another section earlier today, but i have since thought that you guys might be more help to me. so here it is again.
Here's something that I've heard of others encountering, but I have yet to hear how to fix it. I have a 94 TA. I got in an accident in late November. It's all fixed now, and the headlights turn on and come up fine. the problem occurs when you turn them off. They rotate down fine, but then they come right back up. I've looked at them, and the arm that the motor rotates just makes a complete rotation when it appears that it should only make a half rotation. can anyone tell me why this is and how to fix it? Thanks!

Well there should be a stop for the mechanism so it can't keep going. If this is missing, then that could cause the problem. Take a picture of the arm and I can take one of mine to compare.
My car is still at the bodyshop, as they're still trying to figure it out, so I can't take a picture of mine at the moment. A picture of yours would be great though, i think i could see whats missing on mine if i had a picture of a working one. I also found a sticky on headlights under another section that i'm hoping will yield some results, though i have 50+ pages to sift through. thanks!
