Default The valve covers

Other than moving the alt down is there anything else that might be in the way?

And

I am also using 1.7rr but that should make a difference, I wouldn't think since these covers have no baffles in them.

Don't really need to move the alternator just clearance it a bit and you'll be good. I have no experience with those adapters though.

Well are you running AC still or not? If you dont have AC then i would highly rec moving the alt down low. It can be done very easily by trimming up the acc bracket and adding a 90* bracket to it. I did on mine when i pull the motor out last year and man it cleans up alot of room up top and this way you can whatever valve covers you want without clearancing and be able to fully see them. Theres a writeup on lt1engine.com on how mod your bracket.

And they make that valve cover in center bolt. I've had them for awhile.
