Default Rag Joint

Hey Guys, I've just bought a 97 TA and just found the other day that I am needing a new rag joint. Now I have read about the eliminators available through unbalanced engineeringing, however I have tried contacting them with some questions and never received any reply(this has been over a week ago now). I work at a machine shop and am contemplating making my own, however I want to be sure of the measurments before I do(thickness, hole spacing, and hole sizes). And my car is my daily driver and i'm not able to have down time with it waiting until I get one made. So I was hoping someone may have the measurments for one, or even an extra one someone may have they could spare. Anyways, I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

If you are calling them about receiving information on dimensions, I highly doubt they are eager to supply that info to you for free.

Just buy an LS style shaft & reclock it like the one youve got Then tack weld it Its really easy & clears stuff way better than a rag elim kit

I strongly suggest you tack-weld the splines shaft!!

OP it will be way easier and less cluttered to use the Ls1 shaft....

I bought my ragjoint elim kit in the classifieds section. Was brand new in packaging half price. Solved part of my problems but i still need to get a proper alignment.

I wasn't contacting them about dimensions, I was actually planning on buying one from them, but I was concerned at the time about shipping time, so I was wondering how long it would take to get to where I am(Tn). Although I sent them two emails, never got a reply. Plus I hadn't seen any recent posts regarding their eliminators, I was even wondering if they were even still in business.

Jason from Unbalanced just recently gave me great customer service and was very quick to ship. Two thumbs up for sure.
