Lt1 help! 1996 caprice lt1 car will run good for one day and stall out rest of the time.Theres a 50-50 chance it will start again after it stalls. I have Been have problem for about six mouth after i got oil changed! car been sitting ever since PLEASE HELP!
hooked car up to code readers NOTHING, while its running and dead.
I have replaced to many things I am LOST!
fuel pump
fuel filter
coil
Ignition module was good
spark plugs
wires
opti spark, botton an all seals
crank position sencor
oil line sencor
throttle position sencor

i can go start the car right now an it will run fine. but after a couple hours of running or driving it will just die an wont start again for couple of hours. when u try to start engine again just turns over an stumbles an sounds like it gasp for air.

Check the fuel pressure regulator. Make sure it's not leaking internally or externally. You can pull the vac line off and see if fuel comes out. If so change it with a stock replacement and verify the fuel pressure with a gauge to make sure it works correctly.
