Default Strange starting problem
Randomly when I go to start my car, it makes a clunking sound like the bendix is engaging but wont crank the engine over, if I do this enough times it will start. Time for a new starter?

I was under the car and I was able to move the black cap where the wires connect on the solenoid, is that supposed to move? haha

Any one run a generic SBC starter on these engines? Also could I just replace the solenoid?
