Shift Points

The tune on my car was set up to command the shift at 6200rpm at wot with 6450 as the fuel cutoff. The problem is it's still shifting at 5800-5900. Been trying to figure it out but I'm stumped. Any ideas?

Are you reading RPM's off your factory guage or laptop software or aftermarket tach? The factory guage might be off if that's what you're going by.

Been awhile but I had a similar problem and if memory serves it was caused by a low rpm entry in a table labeled something about "kickdown" took me awhile to find since it was an upshift problem being caused by a "kickDOWN" table. I am sorry I can't look up the exact table right now, a virus damaged the copy of tunercat on my desktop and I don't have my laptop handy.
