Clooged cat advice
This is a follow up to this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-m...lp-reward.html
Just warmed up car in driveway to about 160 degrees. Using Infrared thermometer shot front side of cat and back side of cat.......Front side was about 550 degrees...Back side was about 200 degrees. So thats definitely a clogged cat, Right?? Next question, should I go with a test pipe or a high flow cat. Thanks

Do you have any junk, such as metallic flakes, coming out of your exhaust? My car was not driveable when my cats clogged up/collapsed.

And one more thing, you can take it Midas, pay for a new cat, and they'll just hollow out your existing cat. That's what they did for me many years ago, and I didn't realize it until I changed all of my exhaust a few years ago. Service with a smile.
