ARP rocker studs
I am going to be installing my hot cam kit in the nex week or so. I have read to upgrade the rocker studs ith ARP's. Is part # 134-7101 the correct one even though I am running SA rockers and no guide plates?

So you bought the HOT kit?
If so I would not bother to change the rocker studs. Wait to buy rocker studs till you decide to get serious and then buy 7/16". Had you asked FIRST most of us would have said buy 7/16" rockers, studs and guideplates now so you don't endup buying the 3/8" stuff now and then endup upgrading again later.
Did you consider getting better springs? The LT4 springs were OK with that cam with the lite LT4 valves, they are marginal with the heavier LT1 valves. Probably be fine for awhile but as the springs wear you will lose some of the high rpm performance to float.
I know everyone wants to defend it because GM packaged it but GM used the parts they had, much like putting a TPI/LT1 TB on the Ramjet 502. GM does a lot right but they do a LOT of things less than right to save a buck too.
