Default build advice..

ok so im looking for some build advice. ive read alot of the thread best mods..

97 z28. current
3:73 rear end
CAI
Rebuilt trans with HD last summer with a slight shift kit. (blew the sun shell)
lower with Einbach

long story short broke a rod this weekend.
got the motor out from the bottom yesterday and starting to think of the build

Def headers with y-pipe electric cutout.
3600 stall
switch to Delteq coils.

not wanting to get crazy but i got a brother with an Ls1 that i gotta keep up with. he has decent mods.

what else would be a decent mod?
heads and intake?
seen lots of ideas just nothing concrete

Goals?

Keep up with a LS1? Cammed will get you there.

Heads/cam setup will lay down over 400rwhp depending on what your selection is.

goal would be 400 or so

are lt4 heads and cams good or is there something diffirent i should be looking into

My brother is the LS1 i gotta contend with....

LS1 with
Ls6 intake
LT headers to a cutout
P&P TB
Ram air to SLP lid
Triple angle valve job.
3600 stall
ans a Speed dyno tune coming shortly

Just send your stock heads out to Advanced Induction or Lloyd Elliot and have them CNC them.

As for cam talk to either one and have one spec'd for your build.

Most cams will lay down ~350rwhp in a M6 so in a A4 you are gonna eat up a little bit more. Dyno numbers dont mean **** its how it performs.
