Default my new project

After many years not being in the racin or hot rod scene I went out an bought an 94 formula. The car did get over heated by the previous owner so I got it wit no water no oil I was cool with that cause I bought it with the intentions of buildin a street car. Im on the fence rebuild this motor or buy another motor ls1 maybe lol I love my lt1 this is my thrid lt1 so ya I love them very torquee I like that. So all that said shoot me some of yall opitions

I don't think your budget is going to allow for what you want and don't get a cc306 there are cams that have been proven time and time again that are better.

Does the car even run? lol

If you got it with no oil and no coolant I would be worried about the shape of the block....You might spend you 2k budget just fixing what the other owner did to it...

^^^^ what he said def try to get it run it for a while keep your eye on water temp and OIL PRESSURE. It will cost you 2 grand for mechian work and rebuild kit alone I would worry more about the shape of the internal motor like bearings lifters heads may be cranked since it got hot

I guess an engine fire is a form of over heating. LOL Get the thing running. There's got to be a LT1 in your year group in a bone yard close by. Get the sensors and other **** you may need.

sounds like a new engine, I would try to find a long block for now. Who know's what the transmission is like after you put all the effort in the engine the trans might be garbage. I would focus on just getting it on the road and see how it will act and if it is worth the cost.
