Am I missing a MAF?
I was looking into a tune for my 93 Formula and noticed I only have an AIT sensor but no Mass AirFlow sensor..... Did my car not come with one? or should I grab one?

What he said. If you want to tune you car, you should get ahold of a 94-95 computer with wireing harnest, w/ MFS and you can tune your car. If you keep your 93 computer you can tune it but have to buy a chip every time.

^^Are you guys serious??
Save yourself the headache and stick with what your car came with. It's not that hard to tune a 93 SD LT1. And reburning a few chips will not add up to the cost of buying a complete MAF setup....
OP what are your mods? We can help you better if you tell us more info on your car. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Speed Density and I don't ever plan to change that on my car.

If you have the software, chip burner, reflashable chips, and the undersatanding the SD charts/ scale then sure it works. I had the computer and wireing harnest for a 94 avaliable for cheap when i swaped mine over so it didnt cost me much, also the software avaliable to me. I am planing on running SD with my turbo setup im working on but tuning it on my 94 pmc.
M6 you knowing more about SD then me tell me how it works.
I thought it was it runs by the RMP of the motor means it is bringing this much air into it, means it need this much fuel. I know it might not make much sence, but in my head it dose...I think.
