Question Meziere EWP users.......

-how much trouble is it to install the heavy duty version? actually, how much cutting do you have to do to the fan shroud to install it?

-and do you think its worth the extra trouble for the heavy duty version or should i just get the standard version?

-thanx for any help

i opted for the HD also.....you will have to cut aprox. 1/2 inch out of the fan support (no biggie) but it makes getting the fans in and out a lil more complicated, works great tho

I have the normal version on my TA and it never reads over 180 degrees
weather that is running at the track, highway, or sitting in 100 degree Texas heat. The fan shroud needed to be cut about two inches across by one inch deep.

If I remember correctly the Meziere tech told me the regular one flowed ~35gph and the HD version was in the low 40. Not a huge difference IMO.

I might a little off on the numbers, or the tech might have been misinformed tho .
