hey guys i know its probably on here somewhere and i searched but couldnt find it; do you need to upgrade the valvetrain when installing a hotcam?

on a side note, i just purchased my trans am that i sold 3 years ago. the exact one i sold, dont ask how i got her back but im so excited

 

Yes. You do! springs are a must. Do 7/16 rockers and studs, guide plates and pushrods.

 

Don't forget a new PCM tune as well!

 

Also put arp rod bolts, forged pistons, and have your heads ported.... oh crap did i go to far ?
