crankshaft hub.

i`m looking for the gm part# for the crank hub on my 96 lt1 i stripped the bolt tread out and i don`t want to drill it and tap it. can you guys help.

You stripped the threads on one of the 3 on the hub? Or did you strip the threads in the crank snout?

Like Rob said it depends on which part you stripped. If you stripped the bolt hole for the pulley that's an easy fix. If you stripped the crank threads that's a different animal.

thanks paul just what i need. i stripped one of the bolt 3 holes, i`d drill and tap it but it may throw the balance off so i`d rather replace it but thanks for your hhelp
